Logo Design
ODISEA Sports Management Logo
I was approached by the founder of the Odisea Sports Management company to make a logo design that could visually communicate what his business does. Odisea offers services for athletes around the world including scholarships, connections, and training. When he first started the business, it was based mostly around soccer. Many of the earliest concepts of this logo drew inspiration from the sport. For the font I was heavily inspired by clean and solid type used by sports reporting channels on television. I incorporated soccer into the logo by including an illustrated look of a soccer ball to create a contrast with the sans serif font I used for the text. When the founder decided that he wanted to expand Odisea Sports Management to include more than just soccer opportunities, I designed a new version that could encompass any sport. I was inspired by the US soccer logo for later concepts, so my goal was to design a logo that was influenced by this design, but not a copy.

Elite Choice Coffee Logo and Package Design
The president of First Choice Food Service requested a design for a new brand of coffee they were releasing. The original name for the coffee was "Deep South Coffee," inspiring the logo to be designed around a distressed, script font. The design was also inspired by the look of a stamp, so I included concentric circles that come together to read as one element that appears to have been applied with a stamp and ink.

Brentwood shopping center logo concept.
Brentwood shopping center was on the market for a new logo. Their original logo was an illustration of a tree. I kept the idea of modeling the logo after a tree for my designs, but gave it a modern look. Upon request, I used a font that had decorative serifs that aged the logo in order to communicate that the shopping center has historically been a place that people stop at when they are passing through town.
